Swipestation is a "closed loop" voucher redemption platform for use in venues across the world
Swipestation takes the traditional voucher model and brings it bang up to date with a digital redemption kiosk
Working closely from a concept imagined by the team at Swipestation, we helped to conceive and design the product at all stages. Looking at all components, plastic and sheet metal through to branding and interface.
We developed working prototypes to test and proof the concept with key technology partners. Iterating the design after every prototype and round of user testing. We made sure the product could stand up to the rigors of use and be flexible enough to cover a range of exterior and interior applications for our partners.
Aesthetically the exterior needed to be strong and durable but maintain a subtle aesthetic, which didn't overwhelm its surroundings. The large acrylic front panel was back printed so it could be quickly and cheaply replaced to fit a number of marketing opportunities.
All component parts were parametrically modelled in CAD where clearances and tolerance were added.
