Axiom 2 pro great collaboration project.

Initially the project kicked off creating new product opportunities based on user research, exploring where we could take the next generation of products.

The Axiom 2 Pro combines chartplotter, fish finder, radar, autopilot and video in a powerful all-in-one fishing system.

We worked closely with Raymarine’s project team to understand the internal constraints. A range of designs and phases were undertaken before the final design was finalised. We embodied glass with large rubber keypad and Rubber pads to provided quality and durability. Touchpoints were designed and 3D prints were produced to check proportion and ergonomics. The rears were designed with over sized fins, creating double thick walls for extra surface heat dispersion. Other features include a user changeable keypad area for different boat usage.
